Empowering the Next Generation of Innovators
The Britton Robotics Club provides a hands-on, collaborative environment where students can explore the world of STEM. Whether building 1lb combat robots, programming autonomous rovers, or competing in FIRST® LEGO® League, our goal is to help students learn through trial, error, and teamwork.
Meet the Coaches
Ms. Estefani Mendoza
As a Science and STEM teacher at Britton Middle School, Ms. Mendoza provides essential educational guidance and classroom expertise. Her leadership bridges the gap between the daytime science curriculum and the hands-on engineering challenges we tackle after school.
Hannah Hess
Hannah is a Maker, Designer, and Bot Builder. She brings a creative and hands-on approach to the club, helping students turn their ideas into physical reality. Her expertise in design and fabrication ensures that our teams don't just build robots that work, but robots that are well-crafted and creatively engineered.
Jason Hess Jason brings over 30 years of professional software programming and tech industry experience to the club. Having previously developed educational technology like Apple's iTunes U and founded the Los Paseos Bit Club, he is passionate about making coding, engineering, and physical computing accessible and fun for all students.
